Partner – Trade Training
An economist with a background in public administration and international cooperation. His experience includes serving the Peruvian government as Deputy Minister of Industry, Tourism, and Foreign Trade.
With over 30 years of experience, he brings a unique strategic vision of the business environment, having led key business associations as General Manager of AmCham Peru for five years. He has served on the Board of Directors of ADEX, the Lima Chamber of Commerce, the Swiss Chamber of Commerce, and COFIDE, in addition to chairing the Board of Directors of FOGAPI (Guarantee Fund for Small Industry).
He has over 12 years of experience leading international cooperation projects, notably as Chief of Party for USAID’s alternative development programs. He has also served as an expert consultant for global organizations such as the European Commission, the World Bank, the IDB, UNIDO, Swiss Cooperation, and the UK government.
He is currently Executive Vice President of ConsultAndes and an Associate Researcher at the Institute of International Studies at the PUCP (IDEI). His educational background includes an MBA from IESE (Spain), doctoral studies at UNAM (Mexico), and a 25-year career as a professor at the University of Lima.
