CHALLENGE
SUNAT-IQBF was seeking a consulting firm to conduct a study that would provide a comprehensive overview of the commercial flow of the four most commonly used controlled substances and materials in drug manufacturing in Peru, as well as any indications of diversion into illicit drug production.
SOLUTION
Trade Training conducted a strategic intelligence consulting project using a multidisciplinary approach that involved analyzing big data, conducting field research, and performing risk modeling.
RESULTS
By leveraging insights derived from mapping the industrial value chain and conducting key interviews to cross-check official data with operational realities, the study helped SUNAT-IQBF design new control and audit plans. This project positions Trade Training as a strategic partner for public-impact consulting firms. By combining data analysis with market research, we demonstrate our ability to address complex and sensitive issues, delivering solutions that directly strengthen the government’s efforts to combat illicit activities.
