CHALLENGE
Mincetur sought to address significant technical gaps in customs management and the operational aspects of logistics procedures that were limiting the ability of 40 pisco-producing companies in the Lima and Ica regions to launch or expand their export operations.
SOLUTION
The project included: Assessment to track learning progress; specialized technical assistance in international logistics, customs procedures, and regulatory requirements.
RESULTS
Trade Training not only provided training but also gave Pisco producers a solid technical foundation, equipping them with the operational clarity needed to successfully launch or expand their export operations of Peruvian Pisco to the global market.
